|Annual Congress of the sector of HAOST for Adult HIP & KNEE Reconstructive Surgery|
|Larissa - Greece November 9-11, 2006|
The sector for adult hip and knee reconstructive surgery of the HAOST invites you to their annual meeting in the university city of Larissa, which is known for its archaeological remains and beautiful squares. Most noticeably there is a huge ancient theatre currently being restored, as well as other interesting remains from the newstone age. The city is within easy reach of mountain Olympus, the home of the ancient Gods and of Meteora, which is famous for spectacular mountain formations and numerous monasteries with long religious history. There are many good restaurants downtown which provide excellent traditional Greek food and hospitality. Without doubt, your visit to our conference will be an experience to remember, withstanding the up-to-date, state of the art content of the course. The topics of the conference will be the evaluation of long term results of joint arthroplasty, lessons learnt and future perspectives. There is an international faculty of 18 members who will share with us their experience. We promise you an exciting and informative congress.
P.S. On behalf of the Organizing Committee I want to express my deepest appreciation to Christos Papanikolaou, painter, for his contribution to the artistic decoration of this program with his paintings.
